1920s Scuderia Ferrari Time Clock. Here is
an incredible piece of automotive history. This is the
actual time clock used by Enzo Ferrari and his Scuderia
Ferrari employees to 'punch in' when they came to work. This
time clock is made by Bürk of Germany, circa 1926. The
movement is finished in black and housed in steel casing
with a cast iron base stamped '6246' to the underside. The
time piece is cased in glass with brass bezel and nickel
plated base for time stamp slide. The unit is in full
working order and bears a painted brass plaque to the top,
stamped with the earlier Prancing Horse logo. This unit was
removed from the Ferrari Factory when it expanded in the
late 1940s. Expensive, but rare & historically significant. |

1926-1955 Le Mans ACO Paddock Sign. This is
the original medallion which hung on the paddock walls at Le
Mans from 1926 until 1955. It is the only one in private
ownership in the world, as verified when it was purchased
over a decade ago directly from the ACO at Le Mans. Only 11
of these signs hung on the paddock walls, and the ACO museum
has the other 10 which are not for sale. The aluminum
medallion measures 25" wide (63.5 cm diameter) and weighs 11
lbs. It is in fine original condition with a lovely patina.
There are countless photos of it in the official LM book '24
Heures Du Mans 1923-1992' (book 1 published by the ACO),
including the ones showing above from 1953 & 1954 Le Mans.
Le Mans Winners from 1926 to 1955 include: • Alfa Romeo -
1931, 1932, 1933, 1934 • Bentley - 1924, 1927, 1928, 1929,
1930 • Bugatti - 1937, 1939 • Delahaye - 1938 • Ferrari -
1949, 1954 • Jaguar - 1951,1953, 1955 • Lagonda - 1935 •
Lorraine-Dietrich - 1925, 1926 • Mercedes Benz - 1952 •
Talbot-Lago - 1950. If you have a car that raced at Le Mans
during one of these golden years, this would make a
fantastic addition. Own a real piece of Le Mans history -
perfect for your garage, den or office! |

1930s Alfa Romeo dealer
sign. This large sign adorned a vintage Alfa dealership in
Italy and measures 35" in diameter. The sign is enamel on
steel with a lovely patina. The condition is fine with some
chipping to the perimeter and pitting to the center,
expected from an 80 year old display piece. This prewar sign
could be the ultimate Alfa Romeo garage piece to display
over your 8C 2300, 8C 2900, 6C 1750, P3 Tipo B or other
Alfa! Note the laurel wreath surround, used in the very
early years when Enzo Ferrari was Alfa's racing manager.

1950 Le Mans LIP pocket watch. A vintage
stop watch in fine working condition with two subdials and a
white face. The 51mm steel case has been inscribed at the
back 'LES 24 HEURES DU MANS 1950 No 32'. LIP was a French
company with roots dating back to 1867. In 1896 they
launched their first stopwatch, and in later years Piaget
worked for them. They closed shop in 1976. This watch was
presumably given to one of the participants. The race was
won by the Talbot Lago T26 GS, followed by another Talbot
Lago and an Allard J2. Several Ferrari 166 MM & a 195 S
campaigned but did not finish. The #32 at the back could be
a limited edition number or could refer to the Lord Selsdon
Ferrari 166 MM that finished 32nd, or the Simca-Gordini T15S
that wore #32.
