1926-1955 Le Mans ACO Paddock Sign. This is the original medallion which hung on the paddock walls at Le Mans from 1926 until 1955. 1950 Le Mans LIP pocket watch. A vintage stop watch in fine working condition with two subdials and a white face. The 51mm steel case has been inscribed at the back 'LES 24 HEURES DU MANS 1950 No 32'. LIP was a French company with roots dating back to 1867. The race was won by the Talbot Lago T26 GS, followed by another Talbot Lago and an Allard J2. Several Ferrari 166 MM & a 195 S campaigned but did not finish. The #32 at the back could be a limited edition number or could refer to the Lord Selsdon Ferrari 166 MM that finished 32nd, or the Simca-Gordini T15S that wore #32.
