Authentic and original seat removed from a new Ferrari 430 track conversion car at the dealer at delivery, this seat is the optional Daytona mechanical model. Wide seat base with a deep and comfortable back, this classic design fits any office decor. The seatback tilt and rear lumbar can be adjusted with the included wall power adapter. The headrest is adjustable in both height and angle. The back of the headrest has a small folding hook that you can use to hang your jacket or a small bag from while you're on the office (or even your car keys if you tend to lose them!). Your order also includes a custom base color of your choice and integrated arm rests as you see in the last sample picture. Shown here for example is a semi-metallic black base and a red base. We currently have only 2 of these available in black leather with red piping and red stitching (can be dyed black if you desire). Each chair we build is unique, the metal base and frame are actually painted separately for each order with a professional automotive quality paint job in a deep, high gloss metallic paint. Your price includes a custom color of your choice. Match it to your existing car's paint, a trim color in your office or anything else you desire. We only need a paint sample or paint code to get finish you chair. We always have a few metallic silver and metallic black bases in stock for rush orders, for the custom paint it is a 3 week processing time. ***After you place your order, you will be contacted to discuss and pick your custom base color*** The mechanics of the bases are a Synchro knee-tilter from Global's Ride collection. They are a full metal base and frame with sculpted sport wheels. The smooth synchronous tilting action maintains constant contact and support for your body in all postures. There are sculpted shift levers at the side of the seat to control the synchro tilt mechanism and seat height. The rotating pivot arms are height adjustable. Racechairs come from actual exotic sports cars and racecars. We find late model race conversions and parts cars and acquire the seats from around the world. Once we receive a new seat, it is disassembled, the leather is cleaned and conditioned, the unnecessary hardware is removed and a custom bracket is created to place the seat in the optimal position.   SEAT CONDITION = NEW Because Leather has natural markings, and these seats do come from a pre-owned vehicle, some wear on the seat is to be expected. We have implemented a rating system to mmore accurately describe each chairs condition. NEW: removed from car at dealer/shop before any use (common for race conversions) 10/10: may have been used for a brief period of time, no wear marks or defects, still looks "new" 9.5/10: may have a small scratch in leather surface at a non central location. Common from bumping the back or side during removal from the vehicle. many times the seats are such a tight factory fit that the base slides along the carpet and can scratch the leather surface   9/10: may have a small scratch in the leather in a more central location (seat base, back or headrest) 8.5/10: some breaking in of the leather surface, may have some discoloration in threads (common for brightly colored threads), or more prominent scratches 8/10: more pronounced breaking in of leather surface including some minor stretching of leather in high traffic areas <8/10: see individual notes.
