1/18 1932 Bugatti Roadster Esders. A highly detailed
14.5" diecast model made from metal with leather seats, real wood
dashboard, and all opening parts. This car was originally one of the six
Bugatti Type 41 Royales that went to the French textile manufacturer
Armand Esders. It was supposed to be the first of three Royales which
were each sold to one customer. The extraordinary feature of this T41
was the extravagant colour combination, the dickey seat and the missing
headlamps. The headlamps were omitted on account of Mr. Esders’ attitude
- “one may do without headlamps since I do not drive at night anyway".
You can remove the body from the chassis to expose all of the lovely
detail on the engine & chassis. This exceptional model is comprised of
1382 parts and 18 different materials. It weighs approximately five
pounds and comes with a wood and mirror base. (CMC/Bauer) |
